Lee has been a creative in the advertising and design world for over 20 years. He has a long roll call of international clients and experience in almost every area of business. In that time he’s won numerous creative awards both in his native UK and Australia, including the UK Best Awards, D&AD, John Caples and Cannes Lion.
In his spare time, he enjoys exploring food, cooking food and eating food – usually in that order. He also enjoys photography – namely, taking pictures of his various culinary exploits but, more often, of his dog Shirley.
Brendan Shanahan is a copywriter, author and journalist. He has written four books, including the critically acclaimed In Turkey I Am Beautiful, an account of his time working as a carpet dealer in Istanbul, among other things. His latest book, Mr Snack and the Lady Water: travel tales from my lost years, recounts his favourite anecdotes from his time spent travelling the world. A former rock critic and columnist for the Sunday Telegraph and Daily Telegraph, Shanahan now writes regularly for publications including GQ, The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald and the Wall Street Journal Asia. He is also the US correspondent for the QANTAS in-flight magazine. He likes contemporary art, good food and impersonating Michael Kors at his bitchiest.
